Our Story

F ounded in 2023 by Vara and Anu, Andhra Ruchulu was born from a passion for authentic South Indian cuisine and a love for the bold, fiery flavors of Andhra Pradesh. Growing up immersed in rich culinary traditions, they developed a deep appreciation for homestyle cooking and the joy it brings. With over 10 years of experience in the food industry in India, Vara honed his skills in creating authentic, flavour-packed dishes. Cooking in their kitchen for family and friends in London, they realized that authentic Andhra cuisine — with its signature spices, hearty curries, and vibrant flavours — was largely missing in the city. This inspired them to bring the taste of home to a wider audience, sharing South Indian food with Londoners for the first time.

Andhra Ruchulu celebrates the essence of Andhra cooking, from fragrant rice dishes and signature curries to flaky roti wraps and our unique Andhra Thalli boxes. Every dish is crafted with fresh ingredients, traditional recipes, and authentic spices, delivering a truly homestyle experience that’s hard to find elsewhere.
